My journey into professional photography started when my daughter was born in 2015. Looking back though, my Dad was the keen photographer in my family throughout my childhood, so I think I take after him — wanting to create lasting memories for others.
On nights out, I was always the one trying to capture the evening with my little bridge camera. I’ve always been creative and loved art and dance at school. When I’m behind the camera, I love that I can put myself in a bubble and lose myself completely.
“A photo captures a moment in time. Without it, it would be difficult to remember what your child looked like as a baby, or how young you both looked on your wedding day.”
Rumour has it “a photo also speaks a thousand words” too!
My nan was an inspiration to me. She lived a full life until she was 93. At her funeral, so many lovely stories were told — most of which I’d never heard before. The church was packed with people she’d met throughout her life.
This was a massive wake-up call. I wanted to live a full life and be remembered for something good. I realised I wanted my own story to be full of the good things I’d done for people — photography being a key part. That was the moment I quit everything else and focused purely on photography. If I didn’t do it then, I would have regretted not trying. My Nan motivated me to do something I truly enjoyed.
My aim has always been simple — if I can get people to print the photos I’ve taken and put them on their wall, I’ll be remembered as Zoe, the photographer who captured beautiful moments. I want to be remembered for doing something nice for people.
I get told a lot that I make it difficult for people to choose which photos to print. That’s always been my goal — to create an album you’ll want to share with your family, full of images that make you feel something every time you look at them.
I’ll be the one with the safety pin, the tissue for the happy tears, and the mint for a quick freshen up. If your dress needs carrying or your veil has fallen out, I’ll be your personal assistant. I believe it’s the little things that make your day run smoothly.
I make sure group shots are stress-free — I always prioritise the elderly and children first. I visit venues beforehand so I feel confident on the day. I even text the bride the night before to wish her well and let her know when I’ll be there in the morning.
The couple usually receive their photos within 2–3 weeks, with sneak previews sent within a day or two. Preparation is key, and I always aim to under-promise and over-deliver.
I capture real moments — the natural smiles, the genuine reactions, the unscripted laughter. Even during group shots, I always catch the outtakes that make your album truly unique.
From the very first chat to the final gallery delivery, I offer a warm, personal experience. I’m not just taking photos — I’m part of your day, helping everything run smoothly.
Excellent service with beautiful, natural photos at prices that won’t break the bank. I’ve kept my overheads low so I can offer outstanding value without compromising on quality.
I invest in reliable, professional-grade gear so you can trust every shot will be captured beautifully.
