A few things to consider when planning your wedding day;
Confetti!
The more confetti the better!
Consider providing confetti for your guests to throw as some guests may forget to bring some. This will guarantee you will have enough to create some great photos! Be sure to check with your venue for any restrictions.
Gift bags for your bridesmaids
Gift bags for your bridesmaids are a nice touch to the getting ready part of your day. The bag could include a personalised robe/pyjamas for fun photos! The robes are also handy for when your hair and makeup has been done and you're ready to get into your dress.
The veil
If you have a veil - great! If you would like some creative photos in your album, consider the length of your veil The longer the veil means we can create some fun photos for your album.
Hangers
Pretty hangers complete a photo, especially for your bridal dress. You could also consider buying/making personalised ones for the bridesmaid dresses too.
A mood board
If you have a particular photo or idea you would like included in your wedding album, why not put together a mood board and send it to me. It is always helpful for me to have some ideas to work with on your day. I will do my upmost to create it for you!
Photo frame
If you're on a budget, instead of investing in a photobooth, why not purchase a portable photo frame?
It's a great way to make sure everyone has a photo in your album. Just leave it with me and I'll capture the fun! I can also provide a silver frame for evening photos if you would prefer. Just let me know before your day and I will happily bring it along.
Sparklers
Sparklers are a great way to end the night and create something special for your wedding album. Just let me know if you would like to add them on to your photo list.
Always check with your venue that they will allow sparklers and don't forget to purchase the longest ones you can find!
Smoke Bombs
If your venue will allow them, smoke bombs make a fun photo to add to your album. Used correctly, they are safe to use.
I would suggest buying a couple spare in case one decides not to light.
Getting ready at home
If you are getting ready at home and have invited me along to get some morning photos of you and your bridal party, to help the morning run smoothly before I arrive here are a few tips:
Keeping the room as tidy as possible; clear of bags, clothes and shoes etc will help me capture some lovely photos to put in your wedding album.
